The Term Celtic Nation refers to any of the six traditional Celtic regions which includes, Brittany,Cornwall, Scotland, Ireland,Wales and the isle of Man.They all have have similar cultural traits like having a native Celtic Language. The culture of the Celtic People is Celebrated In festivals such as The Festival Interceltique de Lorient In Brittany, and the Pan Celtic Festival in Ireland.
The Celtic Countries all have a native Celtic Language, they are divided into two Groups which includes Goidelic (Manx,Irish,Scottish Gaelic) and Brythonic (Cornish,Breton,Welsh) , Some of these languages have declined over the past century and have been oppressed in the past. Efforts are now been made to "restore" these languages and encourage non-native speakers to learn them. Some Celtic Languages are spoken in the Americas, where they were brought there by Scottish,Irish and Welsh Immigrants.
Cooperation between Celtic Nations is encouraged by organisations such as the Celtic Congress and the Celtic league and they are many sporting events between the Celtic Nations.

First of Feb and belgium
Hey There. It is I The Irish Messiah, okay just kidding. I'm just taken some time to write in this blog because there's nothing else to do at this time unfortunately. The weather here in Ireland has been pretty windy and wet, is it a good thing ? or a bad thing ? well at least its keeps the grass green, it makes Ireland the Emerald Isle.I find it incredible that some people like to visit countries where the weather is different, Weather is quite an attractive force, people in hot climates like to visit cold places and people in cold places like visit hot places.Anyway today is the first of February or Called "Saint st Bridget's day" here in Ireland. It signals the start of Spring which is a sign of rebirth and awakening. The Cold of winter will Disappear shortly.I'm Pretty excited for tomorrow as Ireland will play in the 6 nations rugby union tournament against Scotland, I hope it will be a great match !. Also recently I've been reading about Belgium, It is a country that captivates me so much, especially the fact that in one part of the country ,The Flemish region they speak dutch or "Flemish" , and in the southern Area of Belgium called "Wallonia"they speak mainly french. I know that the linguistic differences have caused political turmoil and maybe Some Belgians don't consider themselves "Belgian" because they seem themselves as different from the other.below is some pictures of Beautiful Belgium. P.S any Belgians reading please get in contact I want to know more !

Whats up ?
Its me Rob here again,I haven't got much to say here today, apart from the appalling weather here in Ireland, which is probably typical for this time of year and the 11 other months of the year !.I've been reading some philosophy lately most notably Arthur Schopenhauer and Jean Paul Sartre, Its pretty tough to grasp but I'm sure it will all come to me some day. I've been doing some reading about Italy lately also,The Italian economy seems to have taken a hit since the recession ,The country descended into political turmoil but i t seems like a cool place to visit and its rich in culture and history, I'm sure I'll visit there some day.I'd like to see the architecture there I'm pretty sure its amazing. Last night I watched Rodney Dangerfield on Youtube, hes possibly one of the greatest comedians that ever lived in my opinion hes just a timeless classic. I'ts quite bewildering how he remembers all those jokes !.So today I guess is the last day of 2013 it was quite a boring year for me I have to admit,Hopefully in 2014 better opportunities will arise .have a nice day It is a curious fact that in bad days we can very vividly recall the good time that is now no more; but that in good days, we have only a very cold and imperfect memory of the bad. Ireland.
So yeah I think for this post I'll talk a little about the Emerald Isle.I was born in the south east of Ireland in Ireland's oldest city ,Waterford. its known for its famous Crystal.I think Ireland is a very welcoming place and I think this is due to the fact that we live on an island,The fact that we are not connected to Mainland Europe by land makes us a little isolated.Castles seem to dominate the Landscape and really they are quite imposing structures, they stand side by side with modern buildings which is very contrasting.Churches also seem to dominate the landscape due to Ireland's strong religious links.Ireland suffered many tragedies in the past such as the famine, religious oppression, war, and emigration.Ireland has a population of around 4.5 million people in the Republic and is one of Europe's fastest growing populations. The country is a Unitary Parliamentary constitutional Republic with The President as Head of State and the Taoiseach or prime minister as Head of Government.Ireland has a rich culture which is celebrated all over the world, many popular components of our culture include, Irish dancing,Irish music, and Irish alcohol. The countryside is made up of mainly grassland and in some parts Mountains,Just about 10 percent of Ireland is covered in forest.I'd Recommend Visiting Ireland if you've never been here before it is truly a unique place but word of warning bring a raincoat !
